    Who Are We

    The Earth Elements Design Center supplies high-end custom home interior finishes to the building industry. We are the complete one-stop shop for Appliances, Cabinetry, Doors and Door Hardware, Lighting, Slab, Tile, and Wood Flooring. We currently have three physical locations throughout the North-West Region however our business is now rapidly expanding across America and the Caribbean with our proprietary state-of-the-art software solution. This is an excellent opportunity for the successful applicant to join this fast-growing company.

    The Job

  • The Cabinetry Installer is responsible for installation of cabinetry at specified job sites and to preferably be on site for delivery of cabinetry, placing the cabinetry where best for efficient execution of installation.

  • This is a full-time position. The hours of work are Monday through Thursday; 6:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. with additional hours and schedule changes as needed for business purposes.

  • Responsible for tracking assigned projects for completeness and planning for contingencies.

  • Relay changes to schedule and obstacles to the appropriate parties.

  • Understand and perform all functions necessary to complete the installation of cabinetry and door projects.

  • Use a handheld saw, handheld grinder, measuring devices, levels, glue, etc.

  • Study specifications in blueprints, sketches, or building plans to prepare project layout and determine dimensions and materials required.

  • Create and sustain relationships with contractors and clients.

  • Problem solving and creative thinking on the job site to ensure timeliness of completion, communicating with the client or contractor for input.

     

    Requirements

  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required

  • Valid Drivers’ License and clean driving record, able to meet insurability qualifications

  • One year of cabinetry installation experience is required

  • Organized, responsible, enthusiastic, and timely with a strong work ethic is desired

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment while maintaining the utmost standards in quality and craftsmanship is a must

  • Must be able to read shop drawings and install through completion; accurately, independently and with minimal supervision
