What will you do in this job?
Manage all aspects of food truck operations – scheduling, ordering, inventory, discipline, etc
Craft cost-effective and creative daily specials
Produce high quality and delicious cuisine
Communicate food truck needs to general manager or executive sous chef
Manage budgets in labor & food cost with help of general manager and executive sous chef
Invest in food truck team by training and teaching
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in keeping with federal and state standards
Keeps record of potential safety and maintenance issues and communicates details to supervisor
Offers assistance to guests and teammates where needed
Be a utility player who can complete a variety of job duties

What skills and experience do you need for this job?
2-4 years head chef, kitchen manager, or food truck management experience in a high-volume food environment required
Culinary degree, professional culinary training, or equivalency in work experience required
Serv-Safe or equivalent food handlers certification required
Work-ethic and commitment to the team and guest is key
Be willing and able to work solo or as part of a team
Be committed to Safety First and the highest quality of cleaning & sanitizing standards
Be organized with a great eye for detail
Be kind to others and always bring your best
Be a good communicator, always suggesting ideas and solutions
Be helpful and friendly, willing to go the extra mile
Be relaxed, flexible and able to handle a few curve balls
