Glendive Medical Center Acute Care Nursing Supervisor - Night in Glendive, Montana

Glendive Medical Center is seeking a Nursing Supervisor for our Critical Access Hospital. This is a full time position working 7pm to 7:30 am (3 shifts weekly), with variable scheduling, on call, holidays/weekends. The nurse will work in all nursing units to include: ER, OB, Nursery, ICU, Med/Surg, Transitional Care, and Behavioral Health. Qualified candidates must successfully pass and perform initial and ongoing annual competencies skills. The Nursing Supervisor provides direct supervision of Hospital activity including: staffing and assignments; administrative duties as assigned by DON; patient care coordination with the Hospitalists and ancillary services; and timely completion of patient care duties. The supervisor participates in evaluations, mentoring, and education of staff.

The Nursing Supervisor is administratively responsible for activity in the organization and reports to the DON and/or on-call administrator during their shift.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Current Montana Nursing license

  • Bachelors of Nursing (BSN) preferred

  • Minimum of two (2) years Acute Care experience required

  • Charge nurse or management experience preferred

  • ACLS, PALS, BLS certification required within 6 months of hire

  • TNCC, ENPC, NRP, and/or STABLE certifications required within 1 year of hire
