DAWSON COUNTY SENIOR CITIZENS CENTER Kitchen Assistant in GLENDIVE, Montana

QUALIFICATIONS INCLUDE: *Education and experience equivalent to graduation from high school or equivalent *Ability to obtain and maintain a valid Montana drivers license *Ability to follow written and verbal instructions *Wear appropriate clothing in kitchen - head wear and appropriate shoes DUTIES INCLUDE: *Wash dishes, along with running the dishwasher and putting clean dishes and utensils away *Wash off tables with disinfectant *Clean up dish room, floor and sinks *Empty garbage *Prepare dining area for meals; disinfect tables; set tables with plates, silverware, napkins, salt and pepper shakers, butter and jelly *Make coffee for meals, as well as set water and milk out *Assist the Cook with dishing up fruits and desserts *Assist Cook in serving the meal if the Director is not available *Clean and sanitize equipment, kitchen utensils, walk-in coolers and freezers in accordance with department, state and federal health codes *Be aware of emergency procedures and in operation of fire equipment *Actively assist the Cook in all kitchen work and complete delegated functions given by the Cook Will work part-time, 20 hours per week, Monday - Friday. $10.59 per hour; plus prorated benefits, which include: health insurance, optional vision/dental, life insurance, sick leave, vacation leave, paid holidays and Public Employee Retirement System (PERS) with matching contribution.
