UNIVERSITY OF IDAHO Paddlefish Fishery Assistant in GLENDIVE, Montana
QUALIFICATIONS INCLUDE:
- Interest in working with live fish in variable weather conditions
- Valid driver's license
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to travel to multiple work sites
- Ability to pass a criminal background check
- Ability to work in adverse weather conditions
- Prefer someone seeking a degree or interested in seeking a degree in fish and wildlife or related field in natural resources, but not required
DUTIES INCLUDE:
- Assist with sampling of paddlefish fishery
- Collect biological data
- Interact with the public angling community
Part-time, temporary position. Hours will be 15-30 hours per week, 3-4 days a week.
Work location will be the Intake fishing access site 16 miles NE of Glendive from May 15 to about June 10. Optional, additional work of the same type would be available full-time in Buford, ND at the Yellowstone-Missouri River Confluence from May 1 to May 15. Housing in ND would be provided.
Pay is $15.00 per hour.
