UNIVERSITY OF IDAHO Paddlefish Fishery Assistant in GLENDIVE, Montana

QUALIFICATIONS INCLUDE:

  • Interest in working with live fish in variable weather conditions
  • Valid driver's license
  • Reliable transportation
  • Ability to travel to multiple work sites
  • Ability to pass a criminal background check
  • Ability to work in adverse weather conditions
  • Prefer someone seeking a degree or interested in seeking a degree in fish and wildlife or related field in natural resources, but not required

DUTIES INCLUDE:

  • Assist with sampling of paddlefish fishery
  • Collect biological data
  • Interact with the public angling community

Full-time, temporary position. Work is expected to be 40 - 45 hours a week. Duration of work depends on length of harvest season. (May 15, 2024 - end of harvest season, no later than June 30, 2024.) The primary workplace will be the Intake Fishing Access site.

$13.00 per hour.
