ACTION FOR EASTERN MONTANA Senior Companion Choose Home Coordinator in GLENDIVE, Montana

QUALIFICATIONS INCLUDE: *Associate Degree in a related field *Four to five years of experience *Freedom to travel extensively, valid driver license and liability insurance *Knowledge of, and experience with, public and private community, State and Federal agencies and resources *Strong interpersonal and communication skills *Ability to work effectively with a wide-range of individuals *Ability to work effectively under pressure *Effective written and oral communication skills *Ability to analyze complex information, define and solve problems *Skill in the use of computers with proficiency in word-processing and spreadsheets DUTIES INCLUDE: *Interpret federal regulations for the Senior Demonstration Program *Adhere to the approved budget; follow agency fiscal procedures; maintain bookkeeping system and prepare expenditures for project, including vouchers for reimbursement submitted by Senior Companion Volunteers *Plan, organize and implement recruitment, orientation and placement of Senior Companions *Develop Volunteer Stations and supervisors; including coordinating efforts with Volunteer Stations to develop volunteer training and develop, review and update Memoranda of Understanding and other appropriate documents with Volunteer Stations in Cooperation with the SCP *Sponsor Secure community participation through outreach and networking Identify community needs *See Job Description for all essential functions Full-time, working 40 hours per week, Monday - Friday. Pay will be $18.49 and up, depending on experience. Benefits include: health Insurance (employee covered at 100%), paid vacation, sick leave and 13 paid holidays, as well as a 401k after 1st year.
