Touro College Assistant Dean of Student Affairs Touro College of Osteopathic Medicine in Montana in Great Falls, Montana

The Assistant Dean of Student Affairs will report directly to the Campus Dean and be responsible for assuring the delivery of timely and quality services in Registration, Bursar, Financial Aid, Admissions, and Student Counseling. Work takes place in Administrative Offices of Touro College of Osteopathic Medicine.

  • Develop supportive interdepartmental outreach programs targeted to at-risk student groups.

  • Supervise the daily operations of the Registrar, Bursar, Financial Aid, and Admissions.

  • Develop programs to educate school departments in identifying and referring students for academic and counseling services.

  • Supervise and assure HIPAA-compliance with all student records.

  • Serve on various committees as assigned by the Campus Dean.

  • Participate in community activities with medical school departments as well as student services as required.

  • The work schedule requires being available in the evening weekends and as required.

  • Accepts other tasks and responsibilities as assigned by the Campus Dean.

Education/ Experience

  • Minimum of a Master's degree in a student services related field.

  • Minimum of 3-5 years' experience in student services.

  • Higher education experience preferred.

Knowledge/ Skills/ Abilities

  • Organizational and leadership skills.

  • Stress management.

  • Ability to work on various multidisciplinary teams/committees

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Including Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook


  • Travel for conventions, seminars, and the community as required by the Campus Dean.

Physical Demands

  • Able to lift up to 5 lbs.
