Pay range : $20.00 hour
Employment Status: Temporary (May through August 2025)

About this position:
Intern will provide general safety support to the Hydro Operation and Maintenance departments. The intern will work in both the office and field environment.

Lifting of materials up to 35 pounds
Travel within the service territory 15% of time
Conduct research, document and develop reports
Provide assistance to Company safety professionals and conduct ergonomic evaluations, work site inspections, safety meeting presentations, industrial hygiene sampling (e.g. noise, indoor air quality) field inspections, visits, etc.; capacity projects and develop job hazard analysis support, behavioral safety support, safety audits, hazard communication, respirator hazards in the workplace, performance of employee sampling for air containments and VPP objectives.
May be requested to conduct research on various safety/health related issues
Participate in organizational work meetings

Proficient in Microsoft office excel, word, and access data base
Prefer Occupational Safety and Health and/or Industrial Hygiene Degree
Student must have completed Sophomore level or higher by stated date
Must be in good academic standing
Must Provide GPA in application materials
