Summary:The position will report to DA Davidson IT, but will work closely with Operations, Legal, and Wealth Management to document business process and logic for the creation and delivery of client documents and letters through paper and electronic means. This role will require extensive contact with senior management, external partners, and IT staff to document business and IT processes, validate rules and logic, work on key efforts to modernize and standardize approaches and technology. Strong documentation, written, and verbal communication skills are critical to success. This position will consult and collaborate with senior leaders across the Firm, key technology providers, web development and data operations to plan, test and coordinate advancements. Over time this position will grow into Senior Analyst and/or a Product/Platform Owner role. Required Experience:

Skills and Qualifications* Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education, technical certifications or experience.* Experience interpreting, modifying, and creating detailed business requirements for new integration and workflows. * Experience interpreting, maintaining, and creating detailed business requirements for existing and new business and IT processes and workflows.* Excellent communication skills. Ability to communicate and present business & technical requirements and dependencies, both in person and over the phone. * Use professional approaches to translate industry terms and nomenclature effectively across business lines and stakeholders * Strong MS Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint skills. Experience with Atlassian tools (JIRA/Confluence) a plus.* Ability to follow and understand changing industry rules and compliance requirements * Ability to identify technology gaps and research solutions and approaches to mitigate gaps * Ability to work closely with different groups, departments, and managers to establish short-term and long-term planning * Excellent customer service skills. Ability to work successfully with a variety of personalities and various management levels.* Familiar with department policies, processes and procedures.* Consistently treat others with respect and maintain professional attitude and behavior.* Ability to travel for conferences and business meetings with advance notice when necessary.* Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.* Highly self-motivated and self-directed.* Organized and detail oriented.* Follows policies and procedures while maintaining client confidentiality.* Ability to maintain regular, predictable attendance.

Duties:* Create and maintain documentation and standards for all client communications business and IT processes * Work closely with IT, Ops, Legal, and Wealth Management to maintain standards and version control for client communications, which include e-notifications, client letters, and all electronic document templates; help manage change and updates * Work with IT and Operations to modernize the generation and distribution of client communications. This includes modernization of letter generation, migration of letters to currents standards & providers, and helping to implement quality control frameworks * Understand Electronic Signature and delivery technologies (specifically DocuSign and and advise on how e-signature can be leveraged for client forms & letters; help support efforts to further adopt e-signature over time * Comprehend online client accounts (login-types), how clients complete online self-service (address & profile changes), and how client declare document delivery elections (paper or electronic), and how online entitlements and elections factor into the distribution of various client communications* Work to interpret, modify and draft detailed business requirements for current and new integration and workflows * Develop, analyze, and implement solutions through gathering business requirements from stakeholders throughout the firm * Work with stakeholders to document and maintain strategic road-map plans and strategies * Strive to align work efforts towards the strategic plan and work with stakeholders to prioritize efforts properly * Ability to understand data analysis and work with stakeholders to validate data logic and data reporting. Use data to facilitate decision making and look for variances. * Work closely with Web Development and Data Operations to maintain and ensure proper documentation exists for IT workflows and core dependencies that support client letters, client communications, and e-delivery. Identify gaps and partner with development resources to update. * Maintain basic cost data for the distribution of client letters, core platforms, and service provider charges.
