POSITION OVERVIEW
The front desk receptionist greets all visitors at the front desk providing the first impression of the facility. Responsible for admitting patients for visits, hospital stays and/or surgery, answering incoming calls, collection of co-pays at the front desk, preparation of admission packets, and patient labels. Additional duties include daily deposit preparation, sorting and filing and other duties as assigned.
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES
Customer Service and the use of multi-line phone answering.
Must have some knowledge of medical terminology.
Ability to multitask, problem solve and provide outstanding customer service.
Must be knowledgeable of Microsoft Word and Excel.
Typing skills required. Strong math skills required.
