Strong farm, ranch, and leadership knowledge
Fencing, Livestock handling, Stock tanks, and Tractor Implement experience preferred
Must have the ability to become forklift and propane certified, and have proven safety awareness
Must be able to provide phenomenal customer service for our North 40 guests
Good communication and organizational skills; easily able to engage with and work well with others
Must be willing to work in all weather conditions and available to work during hours of operation including evenings and weekends
Physical ability to lift up to 80-100 lbs. frequently, spend up to 100% of work time, other than breaks, standing and moving, climbing and kneeling on concrete or hard surfaces; use of ladders and rolling staircases. Consistent adherence to safety standards
Understanding of correct lifting techniques
WHAT IS IT LIKE TO BE A FARM SALES ASSOCIATE AT NORTH 40?
As a Farm Associate at North 40, you will bring energy and passion for helping farmers, ranchers, and other hard-working customers with their projects. You will be responsible for leading outstanding customer service, directing your team in generating sales, ensuring proper coverage and assisting with schedule creation, and fostering a fun and engaging work environment for your team. Knowledge of farm merchandise such as fencing, cattle handling, trailers, hitches, etc., is preferred. The ability to work with and lead others within a fast-paced environment is crucial.
WORK SCHEDULE FOR A FARM SALES ASSOCIATE
This full-time position requires the ability to work all scheduled shifts between the business hours of Mon-Sat 7 am to 7 pm, and Sunday 9 am to 5 pm. This shift can include working weekends and certain holidays and will require flexibility in scheduling based on business needs.
