GDIT is seeking a Solutions Director to join our Technology Shared Services Applications team. In this role, you will be responsible for leading teams that build, sell, and deliver leveraged and managed ServiceNow, Conversational AI, and Operational Monitoring services to Federal and Commercial customers. You must be a compassionate leader with exceptional experience in resource management, operations, talent development. You should also have problem-solving skills and are comfortable interacting with executive management, architecture/engineering, cyber, contracts, suppliers, and program management teams.
You will grow the business in a sustainable manner and handle non-routine information supporting a rapidly changing organization. Using your strong communication and data analysis skills, you will effectively collaborate with a variety of people and job functions, juggling and accomplishing tasks of moderate to high complexity and are able to work productively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Build out and scale an org of multiple services with the following responsibilities:
ServiceNow Consulting, Shared Managed Platform, and Staff Augmentation Services.
Conversational AI Consulting and Staff Augmentation Services.
ScienceLogic Consulting, Shared Managed Platform, and Staff Augmentation Services.
Build and manage large, high performing teams; set a vision and strategy to drive the teams forward; and keep them focused on delivering results critical to business success.
Identify & Analyze improvements to the business – opportunities for improving the customer experience and driving operating efficiency – to support the strategic and operational goals of Technology Shared Services.
Foster collaboration, value other’s perspectives and gain support and buy-in for Apps Service Portfolio changes
Ability to negotiate with peers and senior leaders to come to agreed upon and productive solutions to business problems.
Proven ability to drive operational rigor within an org, while developing strong relationships with both business and technical leadership
Bachelors degree in a relevant field of study.
20+ years of experience in Information Technology.
5+ years of related industry experience in government contracting environments. In lieu of degree, candidates must have 9+ years’ experience.
Ability to lead and influence in a matrixed environment is critical.
2 + years’ experience working with ServiceNow
1+ years’ experience with shared/managed services
2+ years’ experience leading application engineering activities
7+ years’ experience leading people
2+ years’ experience managing teams larger than 50 people
Experience supporting federal contracting proposal development
Experience managing budgets/financials
Ability to analyze and anticipate the needs of your team, managers, business partners, and customers.
Outstanding leadership, facilitation, and problem-solving skills. Ability to effectively collaborate and influence at all levels of the organization.
A broad enterprise-wide view of the business and varying degrees of appreciation of strategy, processes and capabilities, enabling technologies and governance.
Ability to succeed in a highly collaborative team environment with multiple in-flight initiatives and stakeholders.
Ability to successfully navigate between tactical and strategic objectives
Clearance: Ability to obtain Secret (Not Required up front)
Travel: 10% or less
