As a Reservationist, you will be communicating with guests on all facets of The Resort via phone, mail and email.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Maintain warm, welcoming and professional demeanor when interacting with all guests and inquiries on the phone, in person, via LiveChat and through email.
Ensure that email correspondence is handled with proper grammar.
Respond to emails, phone calls and LiveChat inquiries promptly.
Ensure all resort and reservation information is accurately communicated to the guest.
Promote and sell all resort revenue generating activities, lodging and guest enrichment amenities.
Maintain up-to-date awareness of The Resort information and amenities.
Act as liaison between the guests and departments on guest inquiries, ensuring follow through, completion and resolve.
Converse with the guests at a high level, being aware of their needs and fulfill special guest requests as instructed by management or the guests directly.
Ensure confidentiality of guests before and throughout their stay.
Assist with guest service issues accurately and promptly.
Maintain a high level of attention to detail at all times.
Communicate and maintain timelines and priorities.
Complete all Reservations projects as assigned.
Follow and complete daily department checklists.
Compile data and reports as needed.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality or Business field
4 years of experience in similar work experience/training
2+ years of experience in high-end, luxury customer service
Proven experience with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
Proficient ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment while remaining organized and prioritizing workload throughout the day
Strong verbal and written communication, interpersonal and analytical skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively
Maintain a friendly and professional manner under periods of high demands and with guests, team members and management
Valid driver’s license and the ability to meet company driving policy
