As a Facilities Tech III you will be responsible for the installation, set-up, preventative maintenance and repair of equipment associated with cGMP manufacturing operations. Comply with instructions on standard operating procedures and batch documents.

Modify departmental LSOP's as needed in support of daily operations and implement IE initiatives within primary area of responsibility.
Ensure compliance to GSK policies and procedures for the management of the maintenance of GMP facilities and equipment.
Remains current on RCRA and DOT training and completes hazardous waste management activities in compliance with applicable regulations and GSK policies.
Compliance to good documentation practices and "right the first time".
Perform Preventative Maintenance and Corrective Maintenance activities throughout facility and grounds.
Maximizes total system uptime by monitoring system performance and making repairs/adjustments as necessary (Boilers, Steam Distribution, Chillers, Air Compressors, Vacuums, Air Handlers, Refrigeration, etc.)
Able to follow all maintenance safety practices including Lock Out/Tag Out procedures and Risk Analysis prior to starting the maintenance tasks and adhere to GSK safety programs.
Oversee contractors and other vendors that schedule work during or after normal business hours.
Possess a work ethic that includes neatness, punctuality, thoroughness and accuracy.
Perform daily round and complete necessary documentation to ensure equipment is operating within specified parameters
Why you?Basic Qualifications:
Possession of a high school diploma or general equivalency diploma (GED)
3 years of Mechanical and Facilities experience.
Experience with reading, writing, and understand directions.
Mechanical, electrical, overall maintenance knowledge.
To provide evidence that the individual has higher education related to construction and maintenance experience.
