SWEETROOT FARM LLC General Farmworker in HAMILTON, Montana

Temporary full time from 5/1/2025 - 11/30/2025 Duties may include: Workers will assist in all stages of diversified vegetable crop production such as bed preparation involving spreading compost and organic amendments, broad forking, pulling perennial weeds, raking grounds, installing drip irrigation and landscape fabric, seeding and transplanting, irrigation including both drip irrigation and overhead irrigation, cultivation and weeding of crops, pruning and trellising of crops, harvesting, post-harvest handling of crops in wash/ pack process, and loading produce into vehicles. May include operation of 'walk behind' 2-wheeled tractor and/ or 4-wheeled tractor. Duties also include termination of crops by mowing or silage tarp installation, and general upkeep of edge of farm areas by mowing and weed-whacking, & other related Farm Worker activities as per SOC/OES 45-2092 (onetonline.org). Possible weekend/holiday work. Daily start and stop times may vary depending on weather and crop production. Must be 18 years of age. Worker has 3 days from date of hire to show proof of legal authorization to work in the United States. Drug/alcohol/tobacco free work zone. Static strength; exert max muscle force to lift, push, pull, unload, carry objects up to 50lbs; may climb, walk, stand, reach, balance, sit, stoop, bend, squat, wash, clean: equip, grounds, area. All applicants must be able, willing and qualified to perform work described and must be available for the entire period specified. Variable weather conditions may apply.
