The Training Support Coordinator will support site and global training and development needs by maintaining the learning management system for site Full Time Employees and Contract workers. The Training Support Coordinator will maintain processes through strong documentation and system support. Support training curricula development and/or refinement with area managers for most effective delivery of training materials. Support the application of GSK Vaccines safety and environmental guidelines.

This role will provide YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career. These responsibilities include some of the following:

  • Ensure data entry and reporting in LMS (myLearning/myLesson) is accurate and timely
  • Determine appropriate training audience through understanding of document management system and curricula structure
  • Maintain curricula and item structure in LMS per site need and organizational structure
  • Update LMS with relevant GMP, non-GMP, Safety, Technical, and HR learning items
  • Use SAP and internal systems to support changes in LMS
  • Provide reporting from LMS both for internal and audit purposes
  • Schedule training offerings per instructor request and site need
  • Perform administrative tasks to support the L&D department, site FTE training and Contractor training needs
  • Maintain data integrity of training files and documentation
  • Propose continuous improvement ideas through supervisory structure

Basic Qualifications:

We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:

  • Experience maintaining and controlling sensitive records and documentation.
  • Experience with database management, setting priorities, collecting data and preparing reports.
  • Experience working in positions that require customer service.
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of previous experience in a regulated environment (GMP, ISO, etc)
  • Post-secondary education
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Previous experience maintaining a database or learning management system, preferably myLearning.
  • Previous experience in a training role
