BIG HORN COUNTY WOMEN, INFANTS & CHILDREN (WIC) EDUCATOR in HARDIN, Montana

Big Horn County is seeking a Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) Educator for their office in Hardin, Montana. DUTIES: Perform skilled technical and administrative work involving program planning, staff oversight as needed, serving and ensuring breastfeeding promotion and support activities within the local WIC program. Provides nutritional certification, education and counseling for the Special Supplemental Nutritional Program for Women, Infants and Children (WIC). QUALIFICATIONS: - Must meet qualifications as a Certified Lactation Counselor (CLC) or complete required training to become CLC in the state of Montana within 12 months. - Must possess basic math skills. - Must have good organizational skills, time management, communication and demonstrated customer service skills. - Must have neat appearance. Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. ? 5:00 p.m. May be required to work outside of traditional business hours as a resident to perform duties on weekends, before 8 a.m., or after 5 p.m. PRE-EMPLOYMENT TESTING: The successful applicant must undergo pre-employment drug and alcohol testing as required by law.
