The Wheatland County Sheriff's Office is currently seeking dependable and motivated applicants for full-time dispatch/correctional officers!

Skillset requires applicants must be able to work well with others, multitask, and have a passion for being of service to others. Computer experience, as well as typing skills are a plus, as this is a technical position. A high school diploma, or a recognized equivalent and a valid Montana driver's license are required for employment. Applicants must be able to work varying shifts to include weekends and holidays. QUALIFICATIONS:
A high school diploma or equivalent is required for employment and clear criminal history.
This position offers two fully paid professional courses at the Montana Law Enforcement Academy. The first is Correction Detention Basic (4wks in length) and Public Safety Telecommunication Basic (2 wks. in length usually within the first year of employment).
