Northern Montana Hospital Director of Nutrition Services - NMCC - Nutrition Services in Havre, Montana
The Director of Nutrition Services Department in the Long Term Care facility is responsible directly to the Northern Montana Care Center Administrator. The selected individual directs and oversees all aspects of the departments nutrition guidelines and initiatives. He/she shall oversee nutrition plans including individualized menu plans as well as monitor intake and acceptance of meals, snacks, and supplements. The director shall monitor and ensure proper nutrition education is provided. Additionally, the director shall oversee menu planning, food service operations, scheduling, hiring, termination, training, and all other aspects of management.
Must have a high school diploma, or equivalent with 3 years of experience. An Associates degree is preferred;
Must have or be willing to obtain Dietary Manager Certification, and Certified Food Protection Professional credentialing. Facility is willing to assist with education requir ements;
Must be able to obtain Serve Safe credentialing;
Must be able to demonstrate leadership abilities by progressive supervisory experience;
Must practice, and be able to demonstrate, and train accepted hygiene standards for food service workers;
Must be able to follow, and provide instruction and training, accept responsibility, and demonstrate dependability;
Must possess excellent communication skills;
Must demonstrate basic computer skills;
Must be able to work with, and relate to a diverse group of people;
Must maintain a cheerful, and welcoming demeanor to all customers/personnel, even under times of high customer volume, and or demand.
Must be vaccinated against Covid-19 or willing to fill out an exemption form.
Salary is commensurate with up to 10 years of experience.
