Havre Optometric Clinic Pre-tester/Optometric assistant in Havre, Montana

We will train and help you become a certified para optometric assistant.The right applicant must be friendly with good communication and data entry skills. You need to be organized, efficient and be able to multi-task. We will teach you how to do the rest.Your primary job is to keep the patient flow to the doctors on time with all patients pre-tested and ready for the doctor by their scheduled time. You will review the patient’s medical history, note all medications and record any information about current glasses or contact lenses. You will run preliminary tests and record those results. On the job training is provided with continuing education offered through out your employment.As your training progresses, you will also learn how to do special testing and possibly be trained in dispensing contact lenses.This position is Monday through Friday 8:00-5:00pm.
