Cordis Clinical Education Manager in Helana, Montana

Job Summary: The Clinical Education Manager drives the North America education strategy for external clinician audiences and executes that strategy through targeted programming. They support the safe & effective use of Cordis products and partner with HCP faculty to provide evidence-based instruction. This candidate will develop and own an education strategy aligned to the Cordis Vital Few commercial initiatives. Adopting a blended learning approach, they will use available resources and seek out new, innovative teaching modalities. They will build and maintain strong relationships with cross-functional partners to lead strategic development of education initiatives. This cohesive education strategy will ultimately facilitate technology adoption, advance clinical technique, and refine end-user skills.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Define and execute professional education strategy through innovative, relevant programming

  • Develop and manage strong relationships with key clinician stakeholders; drive KOL prioritization in partnership with Marketing

  • Partner with HCP stakeholders to provide best-in-class instruction to clinicians of varying experience levels and roles

  • Build and maintain expertise, both technical and clinical, across cardiovascular and peripheral vascular therapeutic areas to engage in relevant discussion with clinicians and support creation of education content

  • Develop learning objectives by program to positively affect end-user behavior and align educational materials

  • Create and optimize clinician speaker materials in collaboration with cross-functional partners for use in education programs

  • Provide technical expertise for Cordis products determined as primary responsibility area

  • Act as liaison representing clinician education needs to the broader internal organization; prioritize education opportunities and topics in support of customer needs

  • Create and lead workshops of varying format and scope including (but not limited to): webinars, live instructor-led training, hands-on product and procedural demonstration, labs

  • Operate to a metrics-driven approach to substantiate programming effectiveness and alignment to commercial initiatives

  • Constantly seek out stakeholder feedback (both internal and external) to innovate at pace and provide on-demand, relevant instruction

Education & Experience Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent work experience; advanced degree and/or clinical licensure preferred (RN, PA, etc)

  • Minimum 5 years recent experience in sales or education (sales and/or clinical) role specifically in the cardiovascular device market

  • Extensive knowledge of interventional cardiovascular procedures and the cardiovascular medical device space

  • Ability to travel (30-50%) in support of internal meetings, external programs and congresses

  • Strong verbal communication skills and an understanding of adult-learning principles to educate and present topics to a variety of clinical audiences

  • Demonstrated written communication skills and ability to tell a cohesive, engaging story

  • Highly developed interpersonal, networking and influencing skills
