Smartronix is seeking an experienced and motivated Cloud Consultant to join our expanding Cloud Services team and work with some of the best Cloud Architects and Cloud Engineers in the market. Our Cloud Consultant will serve as a trusted advisor to the customer and support the execution of a wide variety of projects including infrastructure deployment, operational improvements, business automation and application deployment. This Cloud Consultant must possess keen business development instincts, helping to grow revenue and increase profitability for the overall program. This individual must possess extensive knowledge of business processes and technical environments, software tools, business policies, management and monitoring utilities and procedures. They will drive Strategic Programs to optimize its business outcomes via executive communications, analysis, prioritization, organization and growing the program. The Cloud Consultant will provide guidance to support and enable teams to deliver business value in ways that promote the Smartronix culture and our customer's success. Description/Responsibilities: + Apply a solid understanding of cloud services, infrastructure and technologies to help clients develop innovative solutions + Support the development of account plans to build long-term relationships with customers and identify new opportunities + Review and collaborate on recommendations and designs with other Smartronix SMEs + Support pre-sales functions and produce high-quality, well-written technical documentation, statements of work and proposals + Lead consulting and planning efforts through the initial phases of large-scale migrations; specifically: business case, cloud strategy, organization change management, governance strategy, roadmap development, and application portfolio rationalization + Support delivery of enterprise-wide transformation programs + Work effectively as an individual contributor within a delivery-centric professional services team + Develop detailed design documentation and plans for target landing zones, identity management, operations tooling, security capabilities, managed sandbox, and other shared services + Perform cloud readiness assessments, "well architected" reviews and similar analytical engagements to evaluate and provide recommendations on cloud-related topics + Demonstrate cloud services functionality and support proof-of-concept implementations + Maintain skills as a cloud consulting practitioner to ensure continued market and client relevance + Take ownership of solutions, assignments, actions items and issues, and remain accountable for their completion + Work effectively with other team members, customers and key stakeholders and foster team success + Provide transparent and regular status updates in requested format + Achieve and maintain AWS or Azure cloud certification levels at least annually Required Experience: + Clearance Required: None, but MUST be eligible to obtain + 4-year degree or additional 5+ years of related work experience in lieu of degree + Strong cloud ecosystem knowledge and a technical background + Excellent written and verbal communication skills + Strong understanding of the government RFP process + Strong analytic, organization, presentation, customer service and facilitation skills + Proven ability to articulate and clearly communicate complex problems and solutions in a simple, logical and impactful manner + Proven ability to build, manage and foster a team-oriented environment + Ability to prioritize tasking, adapt and self-motivate Desired Skills: + Experience managing delivery of IT solutions as a Team Lead or higher + Experience with software development life cycle across different roles (development, QA, infrastructure) + Experience presenting analyses, recommendations, issues and new information to senior executives in a large organization + Architecture and/or build experience with AWS, Azure or GCP services Vaccination is a requirement of the position per Executive Order 14042.
