Job Description:

At Regions, the Fraud Operations Supervisor leads a team of nonexempt associates performing a variety of operational activities within Fraud Operations, including but not limited to reviewing and monitoring fraud alerts/claims for credit/debit cards, checks, online banking, and/or small business and iTreasury.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Identifies process improvements including automation to increase department efficiency and ensure business continuity

  • Partners with teams across the bank including but not limited to Enterprise Fraud, Corporate Security, and Bank Secrecy Act (BSA)/Anti-money laundering (AML)

  • Promotes Associate Engagement

  • Assigns work to staff and determines workflow with ability to align associates to work volumes

  • Supervises team to ensure that all quality standards and Servicing Level Agreements (SLAs) are met

  • Responsible for hiring, coaching, and corrective action of associates

  • Identifies coaching and training opportunities for teams to be able to adhere to policy and procedures

  • Resolves customer and associate escalated or complex issues as necessary

  • May assist in audits or remediations

  • May work on special projects or initiatives

This position is exempt from timekeeping requirements under the Fair Labor Standards Act and is not eligible for overtime pay.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED with five (5) years of operations or related work experience

  • Or Bachelor's degree with one (1) year of operations or related work experience

Preferences

  • Bachelor's degree or college courses

  • One (1) year of leadership or supervisory experience

  • Banking and leadership experience

Skills and Competencies

  • Excellent customer service skills to engage with customers via phone and email channels to resolve customer concerns and research complaints

  • Excellent problem-solving skills

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word

  • Strong time management

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Thorough knowledge of fraud and use of investigation techniques to coach associates on investigation skills and tool usage

Compensation Details

Pay ranges are job specific and are provided as a point-of-market reference for compensation decisions. Other factors which directly impact pay for individual associates include: experience, skills, knowledge, contribution, job location and, most importantly, performance in the job role. As these factors vary by individuals, pay will also vary among individual associates within the same job.

The target information listed below is based on the national range and level of the position

Job Range Target:

Minimum:

$35,925.00 USD

Median:

$57,000.00 USD

Incentive Pay Plans:

This job is not incentive eligible.
