Job Description

The primary role of Head of SMO is to create a start-of-the-art solution management organization with the focus on delivering visionary products & supporting program strategies across various functional disciplines and solutions of Product Development organization. As a primary change enabler, the role provides leadership direction and accountability for driving full transparency and bridges the gaps between market, business, and development team needs and aspirations. This role will assume direct management responsibility of program and product managers for all product lines reporting into the Head of Global Engineering, Solutions & Innovation.

This role will assume direct management responsibility of program and product managers for all product lines reporting into the Head of Global Engineering, Solutions & Innovation.

Role/Responsibility

  • Design and execute effective program process & strategies to deliver products & solutions on-time, on-budget and with quality

  • Develop program assessment protocols for evaluation and improvement

  • Maintain organizational standards of satisfaction, quality, and performance

  • Ensure program management leads contribute a strategic perspective and identify risks and challenges and facilitate resolution

  • Champion and work with Team Leaders to embed new operating model and ways of working in support of high performing Teams

  • Support development and implement tools, processes, templates and best practices that can be leveraged across all assets in development and potentially be deployed in other programs or partnerships

  • Drive business and customer outcomes in collaboration with Engineering, Customer Success, Marketing, and Sales leadership

  • Deliver product strategy and roadmap, feature design and specification, collaboration with engineering to ensure functionality, usability, and outcomes, reviewing customer requests and usage telemetry, competitor analysis, and collaboration with product marketing.

  • Partner with Product Marketing and Market Development to incorporate regional considerations in portfolio decisions and go to market priorities

  • Drive successful relationships with key business stakeholders and customers to ensure we understand emerging trends and successful adoption of new products

  • Participate in key industry forums to advocate for Concentrix's software strategy and portfolio
