Description & Qualifications


Collaborate and conduct a full and thorough data analysis and provide input to customers and internal teams on best practices for data management and data cleanup

Interpret, validate, and convert data from source system(s) to target system including demographic data, taxation, benefits, payroll balances, additional tables, contacts, dependents, beneficiaries, and optional data including job history, status history, check detail history, platform configurable field data, and complex elements (e.g., system setup tables, employee pictures and documents)

Utilize available data conversion tools, templates, and documentation to promote efficiency and standardization in compliance with Ultimate Software’s data conversion methodology

Proactively communicate with internal and external customers to keep them apprised of project status and ensure they are on track with assigned responsibilities and project timeline and effectively implement change-control

Create required post conversion documents including Issues and Assumptions and Tax Verification

Schedule and successfully complete multiple projects within the timeline required

Provide input on data conversion methodology and process improvements

Maintain high level of productivity, supporting multiple projects, and meet assigned productivity and project requirements

Provide support to peers (e.g., mentoring, knowledge transfer) including developing and delivering knowledge transfer sessions on new tools and processes as needed/requested

Serve as an escalation point for resolving issues with converted data

Provide ideas and support to functional project resources to promote efficiencies and increased customer satisfaction levels

Successfully assist or shadow System Consultant on launch projects to gain a better understanding of system configuration and apply that knowledge to add more value during the data conversion process

Serve as Technical Project Lead on complex multi-resource conversions

Work with less experienced Technical Consultants in a mentoring and knowledge transfer capacity

Develop and deliver knowledge transfer sessions to the team on new tools, processes and best practices to drive efficiency

Work closely with the Team Leads and Operations team in the development and testing of new tools and processes

Conduct and/or participate in interviews to evaluate Technical Consultant candidates

Experience, Education, Certification, License and Training:

A minimum of 2 years of experience in SQL Database, Programming, and Transact SQL

A minimum of 2 years on the Data Conversion team

Successfully Assist/Shadow System Consultant on at least two activation projects

Experience working in project teams

College graduate BA/BS or equivalent experience

Demonstrate understanding and application of Web Services

Preferred Qualifications:

Prior experience with Human Capital Management Software

Prior consulting experience

Prior knowledge or experience in payroll tax reconciliation

UltiPro HCM/Payroll Product Knowledge or other Payroll/HR Systems

Knowledge of payroll taxes, CPP a Plus
