Flagstar Bank Product Manager - Digital Banking in Helena / Helena, Montana

Job Description: Job Summary
The Product Manager - Digital serves as the business owner for a defined suite of strategic, high customer impact and/or core critical systems. The Product Manager - Digital will support our digital/online and mobile banking tools across Community Banking. The Product Manager serves as a mentor to Product Owners to enhance skill and drive best practices. The Product Manager is creative, has big ideas and fosters collaboration with stakeholders to deliver solutions that enhance capabilities, enhance the sales/service experience, and/or increase efficiency. The Product Manager will also set a broad strategic vision for systems within the Community Bank; including systems they do not necessarily support on a daily basis; and ensure alignment to the broader business strategy and objectives.

Job Responsibilities:
Collaborate with business and technical partners to gather business requirements and convert them into executable technical requirements and user stories. Develop artifacts (such as wireframes, process flow diagrams, charts and graphs) that drive clarity amongst business and technical partners. Remain engaged with stakeholders during all phases of the development and deployment cycles. Validate solution delivered by participating in all phases of testing.
Manage a portfolio level roadmap across multiple ecosystems. Research, analyze, and learn about a target client segment, to garner a deep understanding of business needs. Be an expert with respect to the competition, industry trends, and changing customer needs. Demonstrate thought leadership and champion the business vision across supported systems. Collaborate with a wide variety of partners to align on strategy and develop a delivery roadmap that supports business goals.
Engage with business stakeholders at all levels, with a key focus on senior business leaders, to understand current state and identify enhancements that enable Flagstar to drive sales, enhance service and increase efficiency. Use these interactions to facilitate clear business requirements and supporting artifacts that allow technology partners to deliver solutions that achieve the desired outcomes.
Mentor Product Owner(s) to continually enhance their skills and effectiveness in supporting systems
Collaborate with readiness, training, sales execution, customer experience, field leaders and other constituents to validate solution effectiveness
Appropriately manage risk including compliance.
Experience with customer facing online and mobile banking applications & experience with FiServ systems (Architect, COASP/MOASP), preferred

Job Requirements:
Ten or more years of banking, financial services, or other relevant work experience
Ten or more years of product, analysis, technology, and/or design experience
Previous experience working as a Product Owner or Product Manager
Equal enthusiasm for high-level strategic planning and tactical daily execution
Experience defining/driving vision
Experience defining and delivering large-scale initiatives
Proven ability to use data analytics, research and testing methodologies to drive business decisions, diagnose problems, and recommend action plans to resolve issues
Ability to lead cross-functional teams without formal authority
Comfortable managing concurrent projects in a fast-based, results-driven environment
Comfortable with ambiguity, leading work autonomously, and making independent decisions
Excellent skills in presentation, facilitation, communication, and negotiation
Experience in roles requiring strong communication and interpersonal skills & the creation and delivery of succinct executive-level presentations to explain and sell plans/vision
Ability to mentor and coach Product Owners
Ability to travel to spend time in market (10%)
Bachelor's Degree Required
