Job Description This can be a remote position, the selected candidate can reside and perform the work from anywhere within the United States. The primary location is Warren, MI. We are growing fast and building a team that is customer-focused, creative, cross-functional, and ready to lead this dynamic and rapidly changing industry Job Description Lead market engagements for a range of V2X-related software and energy solutions associated with bidirectional charging, V2H, V2L, V2G and other advanced V2X functions; this includes helping GM partner with utilities, IPPs and other energy industry participants to understand, co-develop, and adopt V2X solutions. Elicit and manage high bandwidth, high EQ communications between customers/partners and internal product and engineering teams Support GM's smart grid act iv ities, helping to execute various VGI programs with utilities Support project strategy, balancing customer and other requirements Support policy conversations around vehicle grid integration Develop materials for leadership reviews/makes presentation to all levels of management Support overarching objective to make the EV ownership experience more seamless and convenient Explore competitive landscape and opportunities for GM that may contribute to increasing the value of EV offerings such as smart charging, energy storage, and other adjacencies Work collaboratively with engineering teams, program management teams, and other internal groups crafting and executing necessary strategies to optimize charging experience Help inform development of the total EV product offering, including the technology/software components Works with utilities, other automotive OEMs & charging partners to execute technology & p artn ership solutions needed to deliver on GM objectives Additional Job Description Additional Requirements 3-7+ years experience in an electrification-based role, electric vehicle (EV) charging company, or utility Demonstrated high level of interpersonal skills required to effectively lead, motivate, and facilitate others in group situations, Demonstrated high level of strategic agility and desire to work in a complex and evolving environment and an innovation mindset. Leadership Behaviors Strong teamwork skills and the ability to work with all levels within the organization. Comfortable working with ambiguous concepts. Ability to communicate complex concepts with compelling, simple, and impactful delivery. Strong problem-solving, ideation, and project management skills.
