Responsible for financial and business direction of a ACS National Practice in order to meet company goals and mission. Manages team of professionals, and maintains client relationships.
Responsible for P&L and meeting financial goals for the National Practice.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Oversees professionals and support staff to ensure consistent delivery that meets CBRE service delivery guidelines.
Maintains business corporate and internal compliance/performance guidelines/ASTM standards by tracking/reporting team training, compliance, certifications, HSE, etc. Makes h/f/r decisions, solicits/approves business cases prepared by Specialty Team_Client Care - Project Directors, and elevates through proper channels for approval.
Conducts group meetings, seminars, and other activities on a regular basis for team planning, development, communication, and overall engagement. Networks/ drives attendance of team members to participate in CBRE events. Leads by example to earn respect and trust of peers, employees and clients.
Provides appropriate feedback loop to ACS Leader on relevant issues.
Implements a career development and succession plan along with an effective retention program for key personnel while creating a more diverse organization.
Responsible for business development including expanding client relationships to target business growth opportunities. Assigns revenue targets to Specialty Teams_Client Care Project Directors, and manages objectives. Prepares short- and long-range plans, priorities and objectives and the annual budget.
Works with clients, BD team, and Specialty_Client Care Project Directors to identify Client needs in RFP process. Prepares proposals and engages in any follow-up, as needed.
Collaborates on staffing of projects and resource needs
Reviews expenses (on a high level) for National Practice and evaluates possible cost management efficiencies
Provides a system of review of all reports to minimize risk management issues. Communicates, monitors and drives the vision, mission, strategy, objectives, business plan, budget, policies and operating plans. Performs spot checks of reports for Quality Control.
Assists in following up on Accounts Receivable, as needed.
Other duties may be assigned.
Directs the planning, organization, and controls for a local market area (LMA), a major corporate functional area or line of business (LOB). May be responsible for a mix of direct and matrix reports. Determines, monitors and reports on staffing levels, utilization and deployment of human resources within area of responsibility. Identifies key positions within area of responsibility and works with executive team and HR to develop effective succession plans. Approves subordinate's recommendations for staff recruitment, selection, promotion, advancement, corrective action and termination. Effectively recommends same for direct reports to next level of management for review and approval. Provides guidance and leadership to staff in areas of staffing, selection training, development, coaching, mentoring, measuring, appraising and rewarding performance and retention of key contributors. Leads by example and models behaviors that are consistent with the company's values.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's Degree (BA or BS) from four-year college or university required. Master’s degree (MA, MS or MBA) preferred.
A minimum of 15 years of experience. Proven ability to manage large, diverse team. Demonstrates knowledge/capability in the areas of financial analysis, business administration, legal, human resources, ethical practices, marketing, and business development.
CERTIFICATES and/or LICENSES
Must have General State Certification/License, as applicable.
Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret the most complex business documents. Ability to respond effectively to the most sensitive issues. Ability to write reports, manuals, speeches and articles using distinctive style. Ability to make effective and persuasive presentations on complex topics to employees, clients, top management and/or public groups. Ability to motivate and negotiate effectively with key employees, top management, and client groups to take desired action.
Requires in-depth knowledge of financial terms and principles. Reviews complex financial/business analysis and reports prepared by subordinates. Ability to analyze the most complex business/financial data and develop innovative solutions. Develops and implements financial policies and procedures. Approves and oversees department/division budget.
Ability to solve advanced problems and deal with a variety of options in complex situations. Requires expert level analytical and quantitative skills with proven experience in developing strategic solutions for a growing matrix-based multi-industry sales environment. Draws upon the analysis of others and makes recommendations that have a direct impact on the company. Highly organized.
