FAmily Outreach Administrative Assistant: HELENA in Helena, Montana
The Administrative Assistant is responsible for providing administrative support for the program office and staff.
Duties include operating the multi-line phone system and greeting visitors at the front desk to refer them to the appropriate staff or resources. Completing work requests, maintaining supplies, distributing mail, maintaining files, tracking and coordinating maintenance of company vehicles and equipment, and other duties as assigned. The position requires knowledge of office administration principles and practices; business English, grammar, and spelling; personal computers and typical business software applications including word processing, spreadsheets, databases, Internet/email, electronic calendar, and presentation/graphic design applications; the ability to work well with people under demanding conditions and maintain effective working relationships with a variety of individuals. The individual should be able to work independently and with initiative; identify when to ask for help, and be willing to ask for help when appropriate.
The required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities are typically acquired through a combination of education and experience equivalent to a high school diploma or G.E.D., and one year of office experience including computer, phone system, filing, and clerical support experience.
