GOOD SAMARITAN THRIFT STORE Administrative Assistant in HELENA, Montana

We provide services to meet the physical, social, emotional, and spiritual needs of individuals and families of all faiths, especially those most in need. The Admin Assistant will assist the Fiscal Manager and Executive Director with day-to-day tasks, some of which have strict timelines and completion dates. Must possess the ability to be flexible and work on other assigned projects and duties as necessary and instructed. Must have working knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting procedures. Essential Skills and Abilities: - Computer & Internet Skills - Microsoft Office-especially Excel and Word - Attention to detail - Bookkeeping (Desired) - Quickbooks (Desired) - Database entry for Bloomerang Duties - Data entry in QuickBooks, Charity Tracker, Excel and Word. - Assist Executive Director with scanning all docs - Sort and review all docs to and from Executive Director - Attends all meetings and training as required and pertaining to position. - Comply with federal, state, and company policies, proc-dures, and regulations. - Process financial matters. Qualifications: - AA in accounting, business or another related field OR 2-5 years experience or a combination of education and work experience in Office Administration, bookkeeping, and/or Accounting. Physical Requirements: - May be required to lift and carry objects weighing up to 20-lbs. Team lifting 20-lbs and above. - Must be able to sit for long periods of time while working on the computer.
