State of Montana Audit Manager - External Section in Helena, Montana
* *Position Title: Audit Manager, External Section The Montana Department of Transportation (MDT) is recruiting for an Audit Manager, External Section. This section’s primary focus is to ensure contractors and consultants comply with contracts, grants and loans, and federal cost principles when performing work and billing MDT. This position is responsible for performing complex audit work and supervises multiple engagements. Responsible for consistency and accuracy of final audit reports and reviews, and ensuring audits are completed in accordance with Generally Accepted Government Auditing Standards (GAGAS), International Fuel Tax Agreement (IFTA), International Registration Plan (IRP), state statutes, federal regulations, administrative rules, policies, and the annual audit plans.
