AVP, Process Design & Operational Excellence
PRIMARY PURPOSE: To develop, lead and engage a disciplined approach to continuous process improvements in support of service delivery and revenue objectives. This includes documenting and assessing current processes and identifying process improvement opportunities, partnering with business operations leadership on short- and long-term improvement strategies, organizing process design and improvement efforts, engaging cross-functional resources and process improvement methodologies, and leading change management initiatives.
Define a process governance structure which includes process analysis, process modeling, and control mechanisms for performance and continuous improvement
Build and leverage strong relationships with all levels of business operations to understand operational objectives, and ensure continuous evaluation and process improvement
Collaborate with cross-functional team to define, document and map operational best practices which sustain or improve quality of output
Utilize data analysis and process modeling to interpret trends and identify appropriate solutions or enhancements which meet business needs, leveraging all available technology resources, including artificial intelligence and machine learning
Introduce new processes which focus on maximizing efficiency and effectiveness and support the ability to meet operational goals aimed at targeted improvement in revenue or reduction in cost
Develop reports and visualizations to lead prioritization discussions and communicate initiatives, progress, and results to stakeholders
Coordinate training, accountability, post-implementation user support, and define metrics to ensure full and effective implementation of process improvement initiatives.
Implement process improvement and new design initiatives including incremental efficiency gains, and proactively communicate progress, risks to implementation, and results
Perform post-implementation monitoring and reporting against pre-defined metrics to ensure process improvement implementation goals are met
ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS and RESPONSIBILITIES
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Travels as required.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Administers company personnel policies in all areas and follows company staffing standards and training recommendations.
• Interviews, hires, and establishes colleague performance development plans; conducts colleague performance discussions.
• Provides support, guidance, leadership, and motivation to promote maximum performance.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education & Licensing
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university preferred. Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification or equivalent certification required.
Experience
Five (5) years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required to include three (3) years of experience in similar roles with increasing level of responsibility, three (3) years of experience in Lean Six Sigma coaching, mentoring, and training delivery, project management, and DMAIC/Six Sigma/Lean or similar methodologies.
Skills & Knowledge
• Strong business and financial acumen
• Competency in DMAIC/Six Sigma/Lean or similar methodologies
• Understanding of development life cycle methodologies
• Excellent oral and written communication, including presentation skills
• PC literate, including Microsoft Office products
• Proficiency in Smartsheet or similar work management platforms
• Proficiency in data visualization

this job posting only, the range of starting pay for this role is ( $117,731-$164,824 ).
