GLACIER BANCORP DP CENTER Bank Item Processor in HELENA, Montana

Bank Item Processing / Data EntryJob Description Responsible for daily operations of Glacier Bancorps centralized data center for item processing for its subsidiary banks. Includes keying and balancing of all incoming branch capture and in clearing work. Work involves personal contact with customers and others inside the organization, generally regarding fairly routine matters for the purposes of giving and obtaining information or instructions, updating or referring. Communications require shorter and not in-depth discussions most of the time. This is a Corporate position located in Helena, Montana. Duties and ResponsibilitiesBalancing each run needs to be completed timely and accurately.Print daily balancing reports. Verify each run is in balance so day shift work does not cause errors for night operator. Verify GL entries are to proper divisions.Print all preventable errors and give to supervisor. Pull fax and/or email notifications from banks to ensure that all runs are worked.Must comply with all company policies and procedures and all applicable laws and regulations, including but not limited to, the Bank Secrecy Act, the Patriot Act, and the Office of Foreign Assets Control. Must complete the assigned online training courses and achieve a passing score by due date.QualificationsTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Preferred Beginner Experience working in the banking industry. Required Skills and AbilitiesEmployee must be trustworthy and possess a significant level of credibility, discretion, and diplomacy.Employee must be capable of interacting calmly and professionally with a variety of people from diverse backgrounds at various levels within and outside of the organization.Ability to communicate effectively with people both verbally and in writing as demonstrated by the ability to listen and understand problems to effectively assist staff at all levels.Ability to maintain composure while meeting deadlines/requirements for extreme accuracy and quality in a fast-paced environment.Employee must be a team player with a passion for customer service and a proven ability to build rapport and work effectively with employees at all levels of the organization.Ability to serve as a backup for other staff members in a mutually supportive team work environment.Employee must be capable of regular, reliable, and timely attendance. Additional RequirementsOccasional travel required: (less than 10 days per year) by automobile (as driver and passenger), commercial airlines, rental vehicles and public transportation and be able to lodge in public facilities
