Stoneridge Software is looking for an experienced Business Analyst to join our team who will be responsible for consulting primarily on Dynamics 365 F&SCM pre-implementation discovery engagements, but may include implementations, upgrades, and/or extensions of existing applications. This individual will work closely with key stakeholders to analyze current business processes and then define user, functional, and non-functional requirements that will be used to evaluate, plan, design, and build a solution.

The individual will act as a liaison between clients and internal teams on Dynamics 365 projects. This individual may be responsible for one or more aspects of the project including project management, business analysis, data, and testing.

Typical project responsibilities include solution requirement elicitation and documentation, business process analysis and documentation, identifying and documenting business process improvement opportunities, facilitating collaborative work sessions with internal and client teams, and defining and documenting future state design. This individual carries the ultimate responsibility for developing an approach and coordinating discovery sessions, uncovering the client’s requirements, and completing deliverables based on the project plan.

The candidate must be extremely detail-oriented, have the ability to multitask, be meticulously organized, and be able to prioritize multiple demands in a fast-paced environment. The individual must also be an excellent communicator with exceptional customer service skills who can quickly navigate any situation to reach desired goals.

This position is available on a REMOTE basis in the United States or REMOTE in Canada (Alberta, British Columbia, Manitoba, New Brunswick, Newfoundland, Nova Scotia, Ontario, Prince Edward Island, Saskatchewan).

A Day in the Life

  • Lead a small to mid-sized team through EPR pre-implementation discovery

  • Act as a liaison between the project team and the client

  • Leads the planning and coordination as well as defines the approach for ERP discovery

  • Provide direction and support to the project team to completion of the engagement

  • Facilitates the definition of project scope, goals, and deliverables

  • Elicit and analyze requirements and develop high-level and detailed business process designs

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and subject matter experts to develop improved processes and solutions

  • Communicates in formal presentation settings including medium-sized groups, internal and external project teams, and business unit events; develops written communications to address varied styles and information needs

  • Maintain notes & communication channels regarding project progress with clients & internal resources

  • Track project deliverables using the appropriate Stoneridge tools daily

  • Monitor and report on progress of the project to all stakeholders.

  • Prepare deliverables and documentation, as required

  • Establishes credibility at all levels with clients and builds problem-solving partnerships with clients and colleagues

  • Develop and maintain productive working relationships with teams to enhance work culture and a positive environment.

  • Track time to ensure proper invoicing

Preferred Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience as a business analyst or similar role

  • Sound knowledge and/or certification in Business Analysis methodologies

  • Experience conducting requirements gathering and Fit-Gap analysis

  • Ability to translate requirements into a solution that meets the business needs

  • Possess ability to manage the execution of multiple projects simultaneously and negotiate and enhance project value

  • Demonstrated leadership role on enterprise-level projects

  • Good knowledge and understanding of project execution plan and project procedures.

  • Understanding of D365 F&SCM and CE capabilities

  • Working knowledge of ISV solutions

  • Have knowledge of industry business practices, software development and experience in client/server and web applications.

  • Background working in the corporate business settings with staff at various roles within the organization

  • Excellent communication, planning and organization skills – both within a team and as an individual

  • Strong and effective interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of clients and staff

  • Good verbal and written communication skills.

  • Ability to establish priorities and work independently

  • Ability to communicate effectively in both spoken and written English

  • Travel Required: Incumbent is expected to periodically meet with client teams across the United States and will be asked to attend industry events from time to time.
