Oracle Business Development Executive - Payments in Helena, Montana

Job Description

Responsibilities:

Generates business opportunities through prospecting with named accounts, market programs and leveraging third party partners. Develops and coordinates relationship with customers that establishes Oracle as a preferred vendor and optimizes Oracle's sales of product. Executes aggressive strategies and plans to successfully drive the product as the preferred customer selection. Provides account representatives with information on how the product addresses specific needs, and assists account representatives in using Oracle's products to leverage large revenue opportunities. Assists in articulating product message, coordinates technical resources and hands off deals to a successful close.

Candidate should expect the following:

  • Building pipeline and executing new business opportunities and meet/exceed Oracle Banking Payments targets established for the designated region

  • Big emphasis will be on building pipeline from new prospects within the region

  • A successful candidate must be capable of engaging at a CXO and Senior levels within Banks to understand their strategy and key business drivers; strive to develop a buying vision and roadmap with the customer; introduce Oracle solutions and to convince the customers of the value it delivers

  • Strives to position Oracle as a market leader in the Corporate and Payments solutions space

  • Collaborate closely with Sales, Pre-sales, Consulting, Marketing teams to drive sales in the assigned market

  • Will be the face of Oracle Payments within the region and actively contributes towards thought leadership vie- speaking engagements, writing blogs etc..

  • Provide direction and input to the Product Management, Product Marketing and Product Development Groups on product plans and new product roll outs by analyzing the changes and advances in technology to anticipate the market trends

Responsibilities

Requirements:

  • 10-15 years of experience selling enterprise software to banks, preferably in the space of Payments. Knowledge of other domains – Corporate Lending, Liquidity Management, Virtual Account management, Digital Channels, Trade and Supply Chain Finance will be an added advantage

  • A strong track record of pipeline and revenue growth in the Payments space

  • Has strong connects within the business and technology teams within banks in the region

  • Should have a sound understanding of Payments space with deep understanding of the competitive landscape

  • Should have good understanding of the technology trends and should be able to articulate the Functional and Technical value proposition to prospective customers

  • Should have an excellent presentation and demonstration skills and should have the prior experience in public speaking at conferences and trade events

Hiring Range: from $105,000 to $185,200 per annum. May be eligible for equity. Eligible for commission with an estimated pay mix of 60/40 - 70/30.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
