Change Healthcare Business Support Analyst in Helena, Montana

Business Support Analyst Overview of PositionAnalyst responsible for initiating and maintaining system processes. Analyst will collaborate with Change Healthcare (CHC) operations to identify, evaluate, and develop system procedures which are both cost effective, and which meet business requirements. Responsible for testing, performing QA activities and providing direction to Legacy developers related to any reported issues or required development. Plan and execute unit integration, coordinate acceptance testing, and collaborate with Legacy developers in revising specifications according to business needs.

Schedule: Monday-Friday, flexible start time between 6:30am-8am.

What will be my duties and responsibilities in this job?

  • Engage in a training period with subject matter experts (SME’s)

  • Perform moderately complex legacy system research, troubleshooting and resolving issues reported by Operations.

  • Exercise judgment within defined procedures and practices; combined with legacy system knowledge to determine appropriate action.

  • Clarify system set-up requirements and protocol.

  • Perform moderately complex utility entry and maintenance.

  • Perform interface utility mapping, updating claims/billing processing codes and data integrity analysis.

  • Detailed Analysis of new client billing data/files to identify potential fail points.

  • Monitor interfaces/hospital files and claims filed for internal customer to determine accuracy of content and claims acceptance.

  • Work with legacy development team, hospital and or client staff to provide detailed information (on interfaces/hospital files) and provides recommendation for correction.

  • Test and perform QA on moderately complex system settings. This may include interfaces.

  • Research moderately complex claims/ERA processing issues to resolution based on end user technical service requests.

  • Complete moderately complex ad hoc requests, as needed, for clients/operations.

  • Conduct moderately complex system support and training.

  • Other duties as assigned.

What are the requirements needed for this position?

  • High School Diploma required

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred

  • 3 years of MD4 experience

  • Revenue management experience (A/R)

What are the working conditions and physical requirements of this job?
