Certified Long Term Substitute Teacher - 5th Grade We are currently seeking caring professionals for the remainder of the 23-24 School Year Temporary Contract Position
At Helena Public Schools, our vision is to foster dynamic educational experiences that prepare all students for life. As a Certified Long Term Substitute Teacher, you contribute to this mission by providing instruction and in the classroom while a teacher is absent. You will work as part of a team that serves 8,000 students at 18 campuses across Helena. We currently are in need of a 5th Grade Teacher for the remainder of the 2023-2024 school year. This position will be on a temporary teaching contract. Some of what you will do:
Promote a class environment favorable to learning and personal growth in the teacher’s absence
Provide assistance for individual students and/or small groups based on lesson plans
Maintain appropriate student records
Who we are looking for:
A bachelor’s degree and prior experience working with children is preferred.
Montana Teacher License is required.
Salary is based upon years of experience and educational background. Contract will be prorated for remainder of the school year. Salary range is $222/day - $311/day.
