Responsibilities

We work collaboratively with our clients to help them work through their most pressing challenges. From implementing new policies to standardizing operations across offices, we work side-by-side with government leaders to solve important problems. We are seeking a junior level management consultant with strong critical thinking skills, and a desire to manage clients.

Consultants play a key role in helping clients improve business value. Our practitioners identify and address client needs: build solid relationships with clients; communicate with clients in an organized and knowledgeable manner; demonstrate flexibility in prioritizing and completing tasks. Consultants responsibilities include client management, solution implementation, and generation of project results. A key function of the Consultant role is to create and present quality deliverables that support essential project workstreams. Consultants gather and analyze data, identify gaps and trends, and make recommendations related to baseline performance and structure, as well as established best practices and benchmarks.

The primary responsibility of this juinor staff level Consultant role will be creating and implementing change management strategies, plans and solutions that maximize stakeholder technology adoption while minimizing resistance. The change consultant will work to drive faster adoption, higher ultimate utilization and proficiency with the changes that impact a wide range of federal and non-federal stakeholders. These efforts will aim to increase benefit realization, value creation, ROI and the achievement of results and outcomes.

In this junior consultant role, the Change Consultant must have proven abilities and a record of success to direct and execute change programs, work streams and tasks in the following areas, but not limited to:

  • End User Technology Adoption Strategies and Execution

  • End User Strategic Communications

  • End User Training and Technical Writing including training materials, FAQs and other communication materials

  • End User Analysis and Feedback Management

    Key Responsibilities:

  • Participate in information gathering session with clients regarding organizational structure, process, technology, and culture

  • Develop work products that clearly synthesize information into recommendations for client improvements

  • Present work products and information to clients in meetings and facilitate discussions on those items

  • Collaborate with a team to develop solutions to solve organizational challenges for a government client that interfaces with the transit industry

  • Drive and document process improvements for mission-critical operations for program offices

  • Provide and roll out strategies to clients

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university

  • 3 years of experience in Management Consulting

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Visio, SharePoint and Excel

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Demonstrated ability to successfully work with senior level audiences

  • Collaborative and proactive attitude

  • Exceptional analytical problem-solving skills

  • Demonstrated Project Management and Organizational skills

  • Ability to meet and pass requirements for a Public Trust

  • Currently reside or ability to relocate to the Washington DC area

  • No sponsorship available for this position

  • Due to our contractual requirements, to be eligible for this role, you must be fully COVID-19 vaccinated at time of hire
