About the role with The CMO Club:

The CMO Club team is seeking a CMO Content and Research Associate to help conduct, create, and coordinate research and content focused on senior marketing executives.

The CMO Club is the world’s most innovative and engaged member based community of CMOs and progressive marketing leaders, with more than 30 global chapters and 1100+ members from leading global brands. The CMO Club’s core mission is in fostering deep relationships and peer-to-peer problem solving for CMOs and marketing leaders.

The CMO Content and Research Associate will play on a key role on the CMO Club team in helping to conduct and coordinate the world-class marketing research that the CMO Club produces. This candidate will play a part in designing survey questions, coordinating and conducting interviews with CMOs, and working with creative teams on writing and designing CMO Club research content. The ideal will be a polished writer and editor with a flair for creating compelling content directed at the CMO and other senior marketing executive profiles. Candidate will be able to manage a complex project to completion by a deadline.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and coordinate all research projects for the CMO Club.

  • Act as first touch point, daily interaction and liaison between The CMO Club and thought leaders contributing to content.

  • Project manage all deliverables, and see to it that they are delivered on time with required polish.

  • Initiate kickoff calls, introductions and all follow up communications to research projects, including interviews with CMOs

  • Manage all action items and develop and maintain a timeline for thought leaders sponsoring content.

  • Assist in developing content topics, develop survey and provide survey results report. Manage timeline and progress of research.

  • Develop CMO Club member interview lists and set up all 1:1 interviews. Manage interview process, notes, and feedback. Provide all related content to thought leader.

  • Manage / maintain overall research program reporting on progress and provide weekly updates.


  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage a project to completion.

  • Excellent communication skills, written, verbal, and visual

  • Familiarity with modern marketing terminology, concepts, and current trends.

  • Extremely sharp writing and grammar skills, and sound editorial judgment.

  • Experience in content creation, curation, and marketing.

  • Experience with Adobe creative platforms like InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator a plus.

  • Ability to work in fast pace environment, collaboratively as well as autonomously.
