FREEDOM FABRICATION & EXCAVATION Concrete Laborer in HELENA, Montana
Job Type: Full-time (seasonal) Hourly Rate of Pay: $17-21/hour Education: high school graduate/GED (required); some college (preferred) Licensing/Certifications: none required Experience: general labor experience, pervious labor work history inside, or outside of concrete finishing Transportation: Valid Driver's License and personal vehicle to get to work (required) Concrete Laborer Expectations/Responsibilities: Ability to use power tools and hand tools Quick disciplined learner to pick up all processes on forming, graveling, rebaring, pouring, and finishing Displays strong work aptitude, and strong work ethic Able to retain training and company processes Vision to foresee next steps in concrete forming and finishing, and take initiative to take the next step to move the job/project forward Ability to use heavy tools, pound concrete stakes with sledgehammers, rake large amounts of concrete with rake, strip concrete forms in a timely manner Ability to lift and or pull 80 pounds at a time Ability to humbly receive direction and correction from supervisors to strengthen your new skillset Working Conditions: This type of work is very physically demanding It is outdoor work and can be environmentally challenging with hot to cold temperatures and precipitation Travel is typically within a 5 to 80-mile radius of the office Hours are 7am - 5pm daily (Monday thru Friday) (Hours can be 6am- 6pm but sometimes concrete pours start earlier and finish later) Saturday hours on rare occasion
