Facebook Consumer Product Marketing Manager, Instagram in Helena, Montana

We're looking for an experienced, consumer-focused marketer to join our product marketing team focused on Instagram’s emerging audiences. Connecting with friends and family while participating in cultural moments in the world around you are one of the many benefits of Instagram. We have the unique opportunity to help tailor safe and enriching experiences for newer, younger audiences, enabling them to get the most out of Instagram. Our team is responsible for global, end-to-end marketing of products designed with consumers, parents and their families in mind.You will be responsible for understanding target consumer audiences, influencing product strategy, executing go-to-market plans, and developing ongoing engagement programs. Required Skills:

  1. Shape and execute marketing initiatives that help deliver relevance and value to groups with a pulse on emerging trends, including younger audiences.

  2. Assist in the development of core product positioning and messaging for products and features, considering value proposition, audience needs, market landscape, and other factors.

  3. Leverage quantitative and qualitative insights from research and analysis to inform go-to-market plans.

  4. Manage product launch go-to-market risk evaluation and mitigation process across policy, privacy, legal, product and PR.

  5. Support and execute go-to-market plans, collaborating closely with product, partnerships, PR, and other cross-functional teams to drive product awareness and adoption.

  6. Understand the nuances and requirements surrounding user privacy & safety, working closely with multiple internal and external stakeholders to ensure people, parents, policy-makers and creators who use our products feel safe and in control of their privacy.

  7. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver and create integrated marketing moments.

  8. Tackle complex problems with a strategic mindset and create thoughtful recommendations and action plans for solving problems.

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. 7+ years of consumer marketing experience, including managing creative and/or media agencies.

  2. 3+ years experience working in digital media or technology.

  3. Experience in trends, pop culture and working with influencers.

  4. Analytical and problem-solving experience.

  5. Experience communicating to internal teams, as well as for consumer-facing audiences

  6. Experience working with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. BA/BS degree in business, marketing, or relevant field.

  2. Experience marketing apps for families and younger audiences.

  3. Effectiveness in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial, startup environment.
