We're looking for a Content Marketing Manager to join our growing Recruiting Communications and Content team. This person will partner with Recruitment Marketing and other teams across our Employee Success and Global Communications organizations to guide our content strategy and write compelling content that attracts and engages Salesforce candidates to join our talent community (including blog posts, video scripts, event communications, emails, social media, and more!).

To be successful in this role, you’ll need to be a detail-oriented, creative thinker who loves to write and lead the development/execution of content strategies to attract talent to Salesforce. You should be a pro at writing short-form and long-form copy that aligns to the needs of our recruiting initiatives. Experience writing blogs, email copy, video concepts, and social media copy is a must; as well as the ability to strategize, ideate, explore new opportunities across platforms, work across departments and build consensus within our large organization.

Primary Responsibilities include:

  • Create recruitment marketing content strategy in collaboration with Recruitment Marketing and content creators and communicators at Salesforce

  • Write and edit engaging, inspiring thought leadership pieces (blogs, white papers, tip sheets, ebooks, etc) and other content across multiple mediums (blog, social, video, email, web, etc.) that is relevant, channel-optimized, and inspires talent to join Salesforce

  • Support recruiting events and campaigns through communications — creating, proofreading, and editing all content-related materials

  • Partner closely with key regional stakeholders to understand local programs, partnerships, and initiatives

  • Provide strategic input on messaging and positioning, and influence partners and stakeholders to ensure content and communications are compelling and aligned with tone and strategic intent

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with a diverse group of partners and stakeholders, internally and externally.

  • Interview leaders and employees at all levels to produce original, must-read stories

  • Adapt internal content for external publication

  • Drive content specific key performance indicators working with Recruitment Marketing to achieve success

  • Track results and apply key learnings to improve future content, communications, and engagement

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of experience in copywriting, journalism, marketing, communications or a related discipline. Experience in a high tech or other fast-paced, disruptive environment a plus

  • Experience blogging for business

  • Comfortable working with design partners to ensure brand alignment across deliverables

  • Brilliant short and long form writing and storytelling skills, with an ability to generate and execute "breakout" ideas

  • Strategic thinker with proven ability to work cross-functionally, exerting influence

  • Ability to quickly grasp information and successfully drive projects and execute with minimal guidance

  • Excellent organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and re-prioritize on the fly

  • Strong interview skills; comfortable interacting closely with executives

  • Superior grammar, spelling, and proofreading skills

  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail

  • Experience with video and/or graphic design a plus

  • Energized by fast-paced, highly collaborative, solutions-oriented teams

  • Experience managing writers and designers preferred

For Colorado-based roles: Minimum annual salary of $80,400 . You may also be entitled to receive bonus, restricted stock units, and benefits.
