State of Montana Data Control Specialist in Helena, Montana
The Data Control Specialist’s predominant function is to review, enter and maintain program data in the appropriate databases and information management systems. This position works within the Montana Certified Operators program and confers with managers, program staff, stakeholders, and other interested parties to meet data management and educational training program requirements established internally or externally by statute, rule, permit, other legal instrument or by policy. This includes assisting with adult educational training providers, data system development, modification, implementation, operation and maintenance, quality control, and may involve using data reporting such as Excel, Tableau or similar platforms.
