Citizens Bank Digital Partnership Development Manager (Remote) in Helena, Montana

As the Digital Business Development Manager, you’ll help identify and develop external partnerships that help our millions of customers become better financial consumers, while also unlocking new value opportunities for the bank. As Citizens continues to expand our digital channel offering as the primary customer interaction point, we strive to replicate the brand and experiential elements our customers love about their branch interactions. We also recognize the unique opportunity to create dramatic new experiences with the use of data and technology to tailor our capabilities to every customer with the aim to both broaden and deepen the relationship. Successful partnership development is viewed as crucial to the core digital strategy and financial success of the bank.

In addition to successful development of partnerships, you’ll also be responsible for helping to transform Citizens by modeling an analytical & consultative mobile-first approach across the bank while always keeping focus on innovation and CX. In this role, you’ll be viewed as a “Digital Athlete” by your peers and partners around the organization. You are someone who has broad and deep experience across the digital landscape and are highly adept at operating successfully within the space. You’ll be a sought-after resource who knows that change is good, speed is imperative and has shown success at pivoting on the fly as opportunities, demands and priorities emerge or evolve. An ability to extract value quickly is a must!

Key Outcomes:

  • Strategic – Work across the organization to define, establish and execute the strategy behind the core vision of helping customers become better financial consumers, including how we differentiate ourselves in a rapidly evolving market where competition exists both from traditional players and new entrants

  • Objective/Metric definition & Management – Establish the qualitative and quantitative measures and objectives, and then manage the ongoing storytelling associated with them, especially as it relates to financial impact

  • Experience development – including all aspects of the lifecycle as measured not only by the ideas being generated and partnerships being signed, but in their successful delivery and ultimately in generating customer and business value.

  • Cross-Aisle partnership in solution building that really focuses on integrating capabilities into new and novel experiences where 1+1 actually equals 3.

  • Process enhancement – continuous improvement in the processes and tools we use is a must to drive efficiency, quality and speed to market improvements.

Qualifications

Required Skills/Experience:

  • 7+ years of experience in a Digital function, preferably with B2C emphasis

  • 5+ years of experience in financial services industry

  • 3+ years with demonstrable business development or equivalent experience owning products or services with a financial impact of at least $10M per year

  • Passion for building outstanding digital experiences, and can build credibility within the organization through outstanding relationship development and partnering skills

  • Excellent project management skills and strong sense of urgency to grow and manage a new emerging business.

  • Customer-centric mindset coupled to an innate ability to think creatively, strategically, and technically

  • Experience launching initiatives is preferred and an ability to juggle multiple projects is a must - can identify primary and secondary objectives, prioritize tasks and communicate effectively to both senior executives and team simultaneously

    Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent entrepreneurial experience

    Hours & Work Schedule Hours per Week: 8:00-5:00 Work Schedule: Monday- Friday Location: Remote flexible, some travel will be required
