Summary:

Meta is looking for a Digital Production Manager to join our Change & Learning team, part of the Recruiting Global Scaled Solutions team. This person will lead the Production team, a group of multimedia creators who’ll build just-in-time, scalable, modular and bite-sized digital resources (including assets such as e-courses, videos, interactive learning experiences, infographics, quick reference guides, job aides, presentations) to equip the global recruiting community with the knowledge needed to help them improve their performance.Recruiting is a core strategic driver of Meta’s success. We have a world-class team working together to help drive our ambitions and scale to the next level. We are looking for a leader with deep knowledge and expertise building multimedia experiences and digital content with experience building learning and enablement resources grounded on adult-learning principles. The person in this role will lead and develop a team of professionals who will support the creation of learning and enablement assets in partnership with other L&D experts in our immediate team and with our global partners. This role partners very closely with key stakeholders across our Change & Learning, Strategy & Transformation and global learning partner teams. The Production team will work on building assets already vetted by our learning program managers and change managers to ensure we are building the right resources at the right time. Some of the projects where the Production team will execute on are known now, and it will also be the responsibility of the person in this role to proactively identify opportunities for improvement to help us drive our vast, global and distributed team of recruiting professionals towards high performance.The ideal candidate will excel at driving the constant flow of deliverables that will be needed from the Production team to enable all our learning and change experiences. Candidates should be creative thought-leaders with an excellent L&D, digital & branding background who will lead, guide, mentor and motivate the team in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment. Candidates should also have experience operationalizing content production. Candidates will be thought partners for the Change & Learning team, leveraging a digital design strategy approach and offering solutions to meet global scale needs. Desired experience leading creative teams to build content and prioritizing based on impact of the assets being built. Attention to detail, ability to remain flexible in a fast-paced environment, and excellent organization skills are critical.

Required Skills:

  1. Lead and mentor the production team composed of multimedia, content and instructional designers who build assets based on defined learning needs conducted by the Change & Learning team globally

  2. Manage the production of end-to-end of assets such as e-courses, modular videos, interactive learning experiences using AR/VR, infographics, quick reference guides, job aides, presentations and interactive learning materials

  3. Provide close L&D advisor on the creation of learning solutions in partnership with global partners and internal change and learning team. Leveraging L&D principles such as Bloom’s Taxonomy and ADDIE model in the creation and execution of the learning experiences

  4. Collaborate with change and learning program managers globally, cross-functional learning SMEs, learners, leaders and other SMEs in the build out of assets and execution of projects in support of the Change & Learning agile roadmap

  5. Partner with Solutions Architect and other key Change & Learning team members to scope solutions as part of pre-production to define priority, schedules, resourcing and dependencies

  6. Provide direction to the production team as the main point of contact to ensure the production team can focus on building the right content and avoid scope creep during the production phase

  7. Coach and mentor Production team members on production processes, visual design (UI) and experience design (UX) as they create storyboards and move through the production lifecycle

  8. Manage and prioritize the roadmap for the Production team, by creating a ticketing/output delivery system to manage each stage using a data-driven approach to building content and continuously improving the model to find efficiencies

  9. Lead the approach to research, strategy, design, testing, execution and measurement for moderately complex problems on projects requiring the integration of learner/user and business needs - in strong partnership with the Solutions Architect part of the Change & Learning team and global partners

  10. Upskill the Production team around visual learning design principles, interaction design, user-experience design, user research, information architecture, usability, measurement and accessibility best practices

  11. Act as both a player and a coach in the Production team. Leading and contributing to creative work on multiple roadmap projects

  12. Apply human-centered design methods, modifying existing ones or creating new methods and creative exercises prior to building any solution

  13. Set the bar for conceptual design innovation, copy, visual communication, originality of concepts, consistently demonstrating visual polish and excellence

  14. Remain current on technology, trends, and industry best practices around L&D and change management and organizational effectiveness. Constantly learning and trying new approaches and tools

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. 8+ years of digital design experience working in cross-discipline teams for a variety of mediums focusing on building L&D assets at scale and/or leading teams of creatives (content designers, multimedia creators, instructional designers)

  2. 3+ years of experience leading, mentoring and coaching teams as a people manager

  3. Proven experience managing project timelines to meet aggressive deadlines and effectively prioritize a consistent flow of deliverables

  4. Competent in modern design, learning authoring and prototyping tools such as, Articulate360, InVision, Premier, Adobe Creative Cloud (specifically Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects)

  5. Experience operating in a fast-paced and highly creative environment and manage productions with multiple workstreams

  6. Knowledge and experiencing working with Learning Management Systems (Cornerstone) and Learning Experience Platforms (LXP)

  7. Experience managing multiple deliverables simultaneously and working leading/coaching teams to deliver high quality work

  8. Experience turning complex information into engaging content across various channels and creating a mechanism for measuring impact across multiple learning audiences

  9. Experience building cross-functional relationships and influencing leadership with proven success playing a consultative role with a variety of stakeholders, in a fast paced, global and ambiguous environment

  10. Experience leading the operations of a production agency, standing up intake, spec management, development, and shipping processes

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Marketing experience in driving innovation or experimentation work focusing on rapid prototyping and agile development of products (sprinting, A/B testing, digital analytics)

  2. Experience managing post vendors and freelancers

  3. Experience within a learning consulting agency/company building learning assets

  4. Experience building experiential learning using AR/VR, gamification and badging

  5. Understanding of L&D principles defining learning objectives and measures of success using a learner-centric approach

  6. Post-graduate or professional degree in Communications, Organizational Behavior, Change Management, Marketing, Computer Science
