Meta Director, Enablement & Sustainability - Global Scaled Compliance Operations in Helena, Montana


Meta seeks a highly motivated leader and connector who excels at coalescing critical operational components of disparate teams into a common governance model. You will bring broad expertise in Operations Program Management, Change Management and Production Control to analyze how teams with different compliance subject matter expertise can rely on the same operational taxonomy to be successful. The ideal candidate will have a blend of breadth and depth of expertise in fields that create sustainable foundations for complex risk operations. They will effectively influence strategic investments, develop roadmaps, and influence business practices in order to drive innovation and improve the horizontal underpinnings of our constantly evolving risk operations. Their analysis, insights and recommendations for how functionally different operations can prioritize the alignment of their workflows to take advantage of economies will help form the basis for a broader Scaled Operations roadmap.

Required Skills:

Director, Enablement & Sustainability - Global Scaled Compliance Operations Responsibilities:

  1. Analyze the organizational structure of each compliance operations team and identify opportunities to capitalize on areas where common workflows, architecture or controls can exist by better aligning the way we use people, processes and technology to deliver impact

  2. Author a common taxonomy for scaled operations governance and help onboard teams to this shared framework

  3. Work across different compliance remits to bring integrative solutions that expedite the onboarding and inclusion of teams into the broader Scaled Compliance Operations organization

  4. Quickly build rapport, credibility, trust, and respect, while demonstrating deep expertise in all aspects of operations management that encourage formerly separate teams to behave as one in a large, complex environment

  5. Collaborate, prioritize and drive change in ambiguous situations to achieve the best overall operations performance for activities across teams like Trade Compliance, Learning Operations Compliance and Third Party Oversight

  6. Drive integrative strategy and partnership as we align the execution, stability and scalability components of teams responsible for risk-based operations

  7. Capitalize on alignment opportunities to streamline daily ops, risk assessments, risk indexing, risk data aggregation, risk mitigation, and operational reporting to benefit from economies of scale

  8. Demonstrate the ability to bring structure to ambiguous areas of opportunity and drive change and synthesis in a fast-moving environment

  9. Co-Develop, sustain, and evolve a scaled operations management model customized to Meta Compliance through close collaboration to develop new and enhanced risk management operational processes

  10. Articulate and effectively communicate with an energetic, charismatic, and approachable style

  11. Influence and drive large scale integration efforts requiring multiple work streams across a diverse set of operational teams in multiple time-zones

  12. Responsibilities include creating the taxonomy that drives integration in tooling strategy, capacity planning, business process governance, and streamlined scaled ops goal planning

  13. Provide strong and visionary influence that inspires formerly separate teams to adopt business approaches that align and up-level our operational rigor

  14. Develop a strong team culture of trust and commitment to inspire change and support our compliance obligations

  15. Drive continuous improvement, step-change innovation, goal alignment, and execution planning to deliver on immediate and long-term goals and objectives

  16. Inspire consensus and drive efficient change around new and improved business practices and capabilities

  17. Partner with other leaders in the scaled compliance organization to smoothly guide our team into its next stage of growth by introducing best-in-class programs and operational infrastructure that enable a continually expanding global footprint and complexity of operations

  18. Influence cross-functional roadmaps and strategic investments as an advocate for our operational advancement in people, process, systems, data/analytics, quality

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. 12+ years of experience leading strategic, innovative work in fields such as risk management, operational infrastructure, operational design, business

  2. Strategic thinker with proven track record of transforming disaggregated operational approaches into a high performing operations strategy

  3. Experience with thought leadership and development of integrated operational strategies, risk governance, and scale frameworks

  4. Experience leading significant projects, programs, and business initiatives using creativity, influence, and ingenuity

  5. Interpersonal experience in interfacing with all levels of partners and stakeholders

  6. Strategic thinker with proven track record of transforming operations through innovation and long-term strategies for continuous improvement, setting organizations up to successfully adapt to evolving business needs

  7. BS/BA Degree or higher

  1. Experience in compliance, legal or other control-related function in operations, technology, regulatory organization or consulting firm, or a combination thereof

  2. Interpersonal experience and a collaborative, team-oriented approach to problem solving

  3. Analytical thinking experience with an outcome-based approach and prioritization experience to deliver on time while juggling numerous responsibilities
