Our Threat Intelligence team focuses on defending our organization and our customers by cutting through the noise and preparing for the threats that matter. Our team includes those who have faced nation state, eCrime, and other types of threat actors in an intelligence, incident response, and/or threat detection function in past lives. We use our wide experience to drive direction, support investigations, and uplift security as whole across Salesforce.

Role

As an Intelligence leader, you will drive the vision and direction of your research team and influence senior leadership across the organization. You are a top-tier security leader with experience leading and delivering intelligence products that are timely, tailored to the audience, and inspire change and awareness. As a manager you will help our researchers grow professionally, provider career direction, and build an inclusive environment where trust and robust dialogue are a paramount for success.

Your Impact:

Success will be measured by your ability to lead a diverse team of researchers to deliver quality intelligence products that shape the direction of our security program.

  • Successfully partner with intelligence consumers and ensure intelligence products and services are meeting their needs

  • Define, track, and analyze intelligence metrics and develop practical tracking and reporting methods to monitor and improve performance

  • Proactively identify, engage, and recruit talent

  • Create innovative programs that drive engagement and security awareness across Salesforce

Qualifications

  • You have 4+ years of management experience leading teams of expert level security professionals

  • You coach staff including providing timely meaningful written and verbal feedback

  • You have first-hand knowledge of how advanced adversaries operate and their tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs)

  • You provide threat intelligence subject matter expertise, sharing intelligence with internal and external partners

  • You are a capable communicator, able to engage others at multiple levels to translate threat research into impactful recommendations to help shape the business

  • You have an understanding or knowledge of related regional geopolitics/wider security landscape

  • You have experience conducting and correlating threat research using OSINT, incident response engagement data, and proprietary tools, performing threat modeling, and producing intelligence threat assessments

  • You have an understanding of all existing and emerging threats to an organization spanning multiple industries and threat profiles

  • You are an active participant in threat intelligence sharing

  • You operate in an autonomous manner, driving the delivery of projects and deliverables with minimal oversight across multiple teams

  • You work as a part of a globally distributed team, contributing to discussions via a video call or chat room

Preferred Qualifications

  • You have experience performing hands-on analysis of live attackers with endpoint or network artifacts

  • You have experience with hunting/IR tools used for host and network analysis

  • You have familiarity with the application of threat modeling techniques, such as the Diamond model, Kill Chain, and F3EAD

  • You have performed all of the above “at scale“ in a large, complex environment

  • You have strong experience with real-world adversarial tooling

  • You have a Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in related degree or equivalent work experience

For Colorado-based roles: Minimum annual salary of $ 170,000 . You may also be entitled to receive bonus, restricted stock units, and benefits.
