The Montana Department of Public Health and Human Services (DPHHS) has an exciting opportunity within the Health Resources Division, Fiscal and Operations Bureau. The main purpose of this position is to determine, establish and monitor eligibility for pharmacy assistance programs administered by Health Resources Division. Available pharmacy assistance includes Big Sky Rx, the Medicare Part D premium assistance program, PharmAssist, the prescription drug consumer information and technical assistance program, and the prescription drug plus discount program. These programs assist clients that are not eligible for Medicaid with pharmacy costs. The position is also involved with policy development; client enrollment; client education; records management; case management; quality assurance; eligibility systems development, testing and maintenance; and data analysis. What You Can Offer Us * Knowledge of social services, health care delivery, reimbursement systems, and/or eligibility and enrollment systems. * Ability to work in an organized and efficient manner and meet deadlines. * Ability to provide eligibility decision information in an easily understood manner, especially for the senior population. * Attention to detail and accuracy. * Ability to research and analyze information. * Meet minimum qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in human services, business, education, public/health administration or related field. • One year of job-related work experience with duties that include analysis and decision making and/or solving client service problems. • Other combinations of directly-related education and experience may be considered on a case-by-case basis. • Six months of experience working with a community-based and/or statewide assistance program and its eligibility requirements.
