Ford Motor Company Ford Pro Transit Product Marketing Mgr in Helena, Montana
Act as voice of the North American commercial customer in key upcoming product projects and programs, focusing on the VAN space
Input to be provided includes prioritization of product configurations, battery pack lineup, high want fleet features/fleet only options, optimization of offering strategy for commercial (including tech stack, DAT, IVI, connected & charging services, etc.), analysis of complexity and cost reduction implications
Working with wider product marketing and pricing teams, provide guidance on commercial-specific volume, revenue, mix analysis for each key program milestone and market equation
Provide guidance to ensure upfitter-friendly designs and think big with respect to the future upfitter model and opportunities for Ford to capture more value
Provide FPV input based on knowledge of cycle plan changes and impact to fleet volumes
SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
Self-motivated and curious
Exceptional communication skills and strong storytelling abilities to make the case for our NA commercial customer needs (particularly in discussions with European team)
Strong organizational skills are a must
Proven leadership and initiative taker
Proven ability to interface effectively with senior management and external partners and customers
Proficiency in Ford systems including MOCA, EIS, EDB, Polk helpful
Understanding of GPDS milestones
Persistent attention to detail
Extraordinary teamwork and collaborative behaviors
Overall business acumen and ability to develop innovative strategic and tactical marketing actions
Process-oriented mindset with an eye for potential efficiencies
DESIRED EXPERIENCE
Commercial experience is a huge plus
Experience in advocating for the customer and in working on multiple projects simultaneously
Ford and/or Lincoln dealer contact, product marketing, sales team support, fleet experience, or knowledge of the commercial customer preferred
